Russell Brand's entourage 'did nothing' while he allegedly groped a radio worker in a 'frenzied' attack, court hears
The former Choice FM worker, now in her 50s, broke down in tears at Southwark Crown Court as she insisted she had no motive to lie. She said a 'culture of fear' shielded A-list stars, and managers would have told her: 'Oh, you're lucky.' Pressed by Ian Winter KC on why she never went to police, she said she feared for her job and mortgage. Brand, 51, denies all seven charges involving six women.
She told jurors Brand said 'aye aye' before grabbing her face and pinning her to a wall.
His wife Laura Gallacher shook her head in the gallery during the testimony.
On his pyjama podcast on Sunday, Brand described some coverage as 'corrupt media'.
