Sacha Baron Cohen, 55, strutted the red carpet in Ali G's trademark yellow costume at the Los Angeles premiere of 'Ali G: Who Iz I?' on Wednesday, joined by co-star Morgana Robinson, 44, playing his pregnant girlfriend Julie in a skin-tight bodysuit and space buns. The comeback film follows Ali G after two decades of, in his own words, "chillin', tokin' and bonin'," as he heads to America to reclaim his former glory. Cohen is pushing ahead defiantly despite a petition demanding the mockumentary be banned from UK cinemas over claims it enforces racist stereotypes.
At the premiere, Ali G claimed Trump stole his ice cream glove invention in 2003 and rode it all the way to the White House.
A collaboration between Cohen's Ali G and comedian Druski has drawn 'Free Palestine' calls, with users alleging pro-Palestine comments were being blocked on social media.
The film is due for release in cinemas on October 23, with Cohen having secretly filmed it over a year — his directorial debut.
