Sarah Palin's hockey legend boyfriend Ron Duguay dead at 69
Duguay had been battling stage 4 colon cancer, which had spread to his liver, before dying on Thursday. Just days before his death, Palin, 62, his partner of four years, shared a photo of herself at his bedside, clasping his hand. 'He fought so hard. Love never ends,' the former Alaska governor wrote on Instagram. Details of a memorial celebration will be released in due course.
The Rangers hailed Duguay as 'one of the most popular players in franchise history'.
His daughters, Shay Thomas and Amber Stavros, set up a GoFundMe in February for his medical bills.
Palin wrote that she felt 'deep peace knowing Ron is with Jesus now'.
