Savannah Guthrie's mother Nancy 'seemed fine' and 'looked great' months before she vanished from her Arizona home, reporter recalls

Andrew Christiansen, then a reporter for Tucson station KGUN 9, met the 84-year-old last October at El Charro restaurant while the Today show filmed its 'Savannah Goes Home' segment. 'She did not need any help walking,' he told the Brian Entin Investigates podcast. Nancy Guthrie has been missing since January 31. Investigators are examining whether a masked intruder abducted her.

Christiansen was among the first journalists to reach Nancy's home after she disappeared.

He recalled Savannah repeatedly telling her mother 'I love you, Mom' during filming.

Nancy 'talked to me very well' and 'was excited to be there', he said.
