Scarlett Moffatt gives birth to second son after birth goes 'not quite as straightforward as planned'

Scarlett Moffatt, 35, has welcomed baby boy Clark Xander Dobinson with fiancé Scott Dobinson, announcing the arrival on Instagram on Friday. The birth took place on Monday 5 October, earlier than expected. Clark joins three-year-old big brother Jude, who took four years to conceive after the couple's fertility struggles.

The pregnancy, announced in April, came after Scarlett previously opened up about miscarriage and years of fertility challenges trying for a second child.

Celebrity well-wishers including Ruth Langsford, Denise Welch and Strictly's Vito Coppola led a wave of congratulations on the post.

Scarlett wrote: 'Our hearts have never been so full, and I'd do it all again for you, Clark.'
