Search for two missing Isle of Lewis fishermen is paused by rough seas days after their crewmate's body was recovered

Norman Murray, 40, known as Tam, and Murdo Morrison, 23, have not been found, nor has their fishing vessel, the Kilda. On Sunday, heavy seas and problems with anchoring stopped crews from sending down a remotely operated vehicle that had been earmarked for the search. On Saturday, officers had identified an 'area of interest' off Port of Ness. Chief Inspector Ross McCartney said efforts will resume 'as soon as it is safe to do so'.

The body of crewmate Douglas Craigie, 49, was recovered at about 2.45am on Wednesday.

The Kilda left Brevaig at around 7.30am on Tuesday and never returned that evening.

The Marine Accident Investigation Branch has set a diver exclusion zone near the Butt of Lewis.
