Seven accused of terror-linked vandalism at Trump's Turnberry golf resort in Scotland will not stand trial until 2028

Seven protesters who allegedly dug up turf, sprayed weed-killer on fairways and daubed 'political and offensive' slogans at Trump's five-star Turnberry resort in March 2025 are to face a 15-day trial in Glasgow on 14 February 2028. Prosecutors are pursuing the case under section 31 of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, claiming the offence was 'aggravated by reason of having a terrorist connection'. All seven denied the charges at a High Court hearing on Wednesday, with supporters waving Palestine flags outside.
Three of the seven — Kieran Robson, 35, Uzma Bashir, 56, and Rebecca Sian Davies, 29 — face an additional charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice by using vehicles with fake number plates.
The group is accused of also damaging a sprinkler system, causing flooding, and breaking a light at the Ayrshire resort, which Trump bought in 2014.
Robson, of Galashiels, is alleged to have been on bail from Edinburgh Sheriff Court at the time of the attack.
