Seven accused of vandalising Trump's Turnberry resort in alleged 'terrorist connection' case will not face trial until 2028
Seven protesters face a February 2028 Glasgow High Court trial over the alleged wrecking of Trump's Turnberry resort, with prosecutors citing a terrorist connection under the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008.
Seven protesters face a terror-linked charge over a co-ordinated attack on Trump's Turnberry resort in March 2025, with Scottish prosecutors arguing the damage was "aggravated by reason of having a terrorist connection" under the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008. The group, from across Britain, denied the charges at a Glasgow High Court hearing on Wednesday and will not face trial until February 14, 2028.
The seven are accused of digging up turf, spraying weed-killer Glyphosate on fairways, and painting 'political and offensive' Palestine Action slogans on the course.
Three of the accused — Kieran Robson, 35, Uzma Bashir, 56, and Rebecca Sian Davies, 29 — face an additional charge of attempting to defeat justice by driving to and from Turnberry in vehicles with fake number plates.
Robson, of Galashiels, is said to have been on bail from Edinburgh Sheriff Court at the time of the attack.
