Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Sharon has revealed she kept Ozzy's severe emphysema secret even from their children as he battled to breathe before his final concert.

Sharon Osbourne says Ozzy's Black Sabbath bandmates were also unaware, as emphysema left him unsure he could sing at the Birmingham show on July 5, 2025. Speaking at a London screening of 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning' on Tuesday night, she said the gig left him 'flying high'. He stayed on that high until he died weeks later, aged 76. 'He was laughing, telling jokes again,' she said.

Ozzy could shine at soundcheck, then barely be able to speak at the gig.
