Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. Sharon has revealed she kept Ozzy's severe emphysema secret even from their children as he battled to breathe before his final concert.
Doctors in England warned Ozzy Osbourne not to perform at Villa Park on July 5 2025, telling the family: 'They said it would kill him.' Ozzy refused to pull out, saying: 'I know I'm dying... I want to go this way.' Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward were never told. He died aged 76 just over two weeks later, after a reported heart attack.
Sharon revealed the secret at a London screening of 'Back To The Beginning'.
Emphysema left him wheezing and fighting for breath on bad days.
She says he stayed 'on that high' from the gig until the day he died.
