Sharon Osbourne reveals she never told her children or Black Sabbath how sick Ozzy was before his farewell concert

Speaking at a screening of the concert film 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning', she said: 'Nobody knew how sick he was.' Ozzy Osbourne was battling emphysema and Parkinson's disease, and feared his lungs would fail him at Villa Park. He died of a reported heart attack aged 76, just over two weeks after the July 5 2025 show. Sharon said: 'Until the day he passed, he was still on that high.'

Their children Aimee, 43, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 40, were kept in the dark.

'He was just praying that his lungs would work and he could sing,' she said.

Some days he was fine, then 'all you'd hear was wheezing and he couldn't breathe.'
