President Donald Trump told a Fort Myers rally on Friday that he had warned Zacharia 'there are easier ways for you to live' than dealing with 'these maniacs' in the press room. He described her as 'a perfect, beautiful woman' who was overwhelmed when reporters started screaming at her. Zacharia held just one 14-minute briefing before her departure a week ago. Trump also griped that the press had been yelling at him on his way out of the White House.

Trump urged the Florida crowd to check out Health Secretary RFK Jr's 'body'.

He was campaigning for governor hopeful Byron Donalds and Senator Ashley Moody.

Moody is fighting a special election to finish Marco Rubio's Senate term, with polls uncomfortably tight.
