Sheriff says evidence is 'leaning' towards murder-suicide after a disabled toddler and his grandparents are found shot dead in Ohio

A 911 call at 4:17am dropped before dispatchers could trace it, and on one call-back they heard a voice softly say 'help'. The phone was a spare its owner had loaned to an associate, and deputies tracked it to a home on N. Cherry Street in Gnadenhutten. A relative let them in to find Melissa Campbell, 51, Gale Sanders, 67, and their grandson Kozzar Lotut, 22 months.

The grandparents often helped care for little Kozzar's medical disabilities, the sheriff said.

A gun was recovered lying next to one of the three victims.

Sheriff Campbell insists he feels 'strongly that the community is in no danger'.
