Shirley Ballas confirmed as guest judge on Dancing With The Stars amid fears all four Strictly judges are set to quit the BBC show

Shirley Ballas, 66, will squeeze the US show into a hectic week between Strictly live shows. She is expected to depart after a Saturday live show later this month, film on Tuesday night in Los Angeles, then return directly to the UK. She joins former Strictly judges Bruno Tonioli and the late Len Goodman in having appeared on the American version.

The appearance is a one-off for now, though a permanent role could follow if US bosses approve.

BBC bosses are reportedly concerned that the entire panel of four Strictly judges may be on the brink of departing the show.

The schedule is reportedly gruelling, yet she seized the opportunity without hesitation.
