Sinn Féin backs a money-laundering investigation into an Irish charity chaired by its own TD that received €2m in State funding

The charity at the centre of the money-laundering investigation is Liberty Recycling. The €2m in Irish State funding has been paid to it since 2020. The party TD who chairs it is still in post as Sinn Féin publicly supports the probe.

Taxpayer cash has kept flowing to the charity every year for six years.
