Sir David Bell's review exposes schools' failures on antisemitism after a Jewish pupil faced Nazi salutes and swastikas at twelve years old

Jonathan Frisher was the only Jewish pupil at his school. He was left to explain to classmates why their gas chamber jibes were wrong. Jewish voices say the review exists only because the community refused to stay quiet, and they now want schools to teach children about everyday Jewish life.
Most pupils meet Jews only in Holocaust or Israel-Palestine lessons.
