Three London sisters pulled from the sea off Brighton beach in May had visited the lake where their mother drowned 16 years earlier just 48 hours before their own deaths. Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, from Uxbridge, also visited their mother Janice Adetoro's grave on the same trip to Birmingham. Police have confirmed there is no evidence of criminal involvement in the sisters' deaths. An inquest is set to take place next month.

Cousin Natalie Walters-Daniel, 33, believes there was 'a deeper meaning' to the visit, noting the sisters did not seek out nearby family.

Janice Adetoro was found dead at Brookvale Lake aged 43 while living with mental health issues — the sisters were young girls when they lost her.

Walters-Daniel said: 'To lose their mum at the ages they were — the years where a mother's presence should be, they didn't receive that.'
