Six children, the youngest just 11, are among 12 hurt when gunfire erupts after a Florida A&M homecoming game
Police say a fight involving 'two or three individuals' erupted into gunfire just before 8pm near Perry and Manatee streets in Tallahassee. Eleven people were shot, one of them critically. With no arrests made and no suspect identified, a manhunt is under way. Police chief Lawrence Revell faced reporters saying he was 'devastated'.
Crowds were filing out after the Rattlers lost 31-28 to Arkansas–Pine Bluff.
One victim's grandmother was hurt while fleeing the gunfire.
Revell said officers carried victims to safety before the scene was secure.
