Six Southeastern services are cancelled over suspected bedbugs 'crawling between seats', but inspectors find NO evidence on board

The alarm was raised when insects were photographed between passenger seats on a City Beam train out of Slade Green Depot in Bexley. A Hastings-based driver reportedly spotted three suspected bedbugs on a poster by a door. An internal log also recorded an 'infestation' flagged by an off-duty Kent Integrated Control Centre worker. The train was pulled at Dartford, and its carriages were still idle on Friday.

Southeastern's only two confirmed bedbug cases came in September, inside drivers' cabs.

The operator insists no bedbugs have ever been found in passenger areas.
