SNL UK's Ania Magliano slams US host Shane Gillis over his 'whores' gym joke with an uncensored insult

Ania Magliano used a Munich Oktoberfest story about free cycling shorts to set up her joke, saying they leave women 'vulnerable to something much worse' as Gillis's photo flashed up behind her. She then mocked his accidental F-bomb: 'Oh Shane, you're not allowed to say that.' Gillis, 38, told SNL on 10 October he 'didn't know women just dress like whores now'. British viewers said the segment made them feel 'patriotic'.

Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy said men calling women whores are the 'misogynists'.

Former SNL star Ego Nwodim posted a gym selfie captioned 'Whore reporting for duty'.

SNL's Michael Che defended Gillis's joke on the 'Today' show: 'That's comedy.'
