'Sorry, Daily Wire's good': Trump brands reporter's France riots question 'fake news' then apologises on learning her outlet

Daily Wire White House correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan put it to President Donald Trump that Emmanuel Macron blames the Iran war, and Trump himself, for the rioting in France. Trump cut her off and asked 'Who are you with?' The White House then posted the clip on X with a crying-with-laughter emoji. Critics online were far less amused, and one account branded the episode a 'clown show'.

France's weekend riots led to nearly 2,400 arrests, and almost 1,000 police were injured.

Macron told the French nation: 'Tonight, we all feel anger and shame.'

Trump has repeatedly blamed the French unrest on immigration, not the cost of living.
