Strictly's Will Best welcomes son while preparing for Icons Week on the dancefloor

Will Best, the Big Brother host and current Strictly Come Dancing contestant, has revealed he and fiancée Tobi Rose welcomed their first child — a boy named Sonny Best — on Sunday morning. Best, 41, announced the birth on Instagram with hospital snaps and a playful video panning the camera down to reveal the newborn on his chest. He called Tobi "a miracle" and said the pair are "tired" but "so lucky."

Best quipped on Strictly: It Takes Two that Sonny arrived during Icons Week — 'What does that make him? An icon!'

Dance partner Dianne Buswell, herself a new mother to son Bowie with Joe Sugg, was among the first to congratulate the couple.

Fleur East, who co-hosts the Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Best, urged him to 'smash it on that ballroom floor for your little family.'
