David Novac, a 34-year-old Swansea man who also went by the names Teodor and Ahmed, has been jailed for five months after secretly filming himself engaged in a sexual act with a woman he knew had not agreed to be recorded. Novac made the recording in May and, according to South Wales Police, switched his plea to guilty on a charge of voyeurism on October 7.

'It is never okay' to engage in any sexual act without both parties' consent, Davies said.

Voyeurism covers recording or observing someone in a private or sexual act without their consent.

Survivors not yet ready to go to police are urged not to suffer in silence, with support available.
