Tate brothers lured women to Romania with 'lover boy' trick before coercing them into porn, British extradition papers allege

Andrew Tate, 39, and Tristan Tate, 38, promised vulnerable women romantic relationships and webcam income to persuade them to travel to Romania, before allegedly seizing their passports, cutting off their finances and using violence to force them into online pornography. Bedfordshire Police detectives set out the allegations in extradition documents submitted to US authorities last month, marking the most comprehensive public account of the British case to date. UK prosecutors also allege Andrew filmed a sexualised video involving a child. The brothers, held in a Miami detention centre since their July arrest, face 59 charges combined, including rape and human trafficking, and deny all wrongdoing.
Women became financially dependent on the brothers after arriving in Romania, with prosecutors alleging their passports were routinely confiscated.
The brothers' lawyer Joseph McBride argues the case cannot be 'meaningfully tested' because British authorities have withheld accusers' names from the defence.
Andrew faces 42 charges and Tristan 17; a US magistrate judge denied them bail in September.
