Taxi driver says 'as men we are expected to deal with it' after drunk woman who groped him is SPARED JAIL

Emma Richards, 41, a mother of four from Litherland, walked free from Liverpool Crown Court after sexually assaulting her taxi driver over a four-minute period, and was placed on the sex offenders' register for five years. Richards had originally denied the offence before entering a guilty plea. The judge described the CCTV footage as "frankly overwhelming." At the point of sentencing, she broke down in tears and collapsed to the floor.
The driver said Richards grabbed his groin and genitals, and that he had stayed silent during the assault because he feared provoking a reaction from her while trapped in the vehicle.
In a victim statement, the driver said he now suffers nightmares and anxiety, adding: 'As men we are expected to deal with it and move on.'
Richards had been drinking heavily and told the driver he 'smelled nice' before trying to kiss him and exposing her chest during the assault.
