The Mamacita Foundation, an Aberdeen-based asylum seeker charity, has been exposed running lessons warning male migrants not to pursue sexual relationships with children, after footage of the session spread online. A teacher in the video told the class to ask young people for their 'ID card' and warned them 'don't be deceived' by British teenagers who look older than they are. The charity, which receives taxpayer support, said the session was part of a 'broader cultural integration and community awareness discussion'. Scottish MSP Mark Simpson has written to the charity demanding answers.
Simpson called the footage 'an admission that your organisation believes some of the men it works with do not understand that children are off limits.'
The teacher told the class: 'We've had young men fall for these things' — framing child sexual exploitation as a trap migrants could accidentally stumble into.
The Mamacita Foundation also provides migrants with food support, CV workshops and fitness sessions — all funded with public money.
