Nicole Taylor, the eldest of the identical triplet sisters who formed country trio Taylor Red, died in Nashville on 28 September after a four-year battle with stage 4 breast cancer, diagnosed in 2022. She was older than sister Natalie by one minute and older than Nika by two.

The sisters broke the news in a tearful YouTube video, saying Nicole was 'our leader and our best friend.'

Taylor Red are best known for country singles including 'Country Money' and 'Rent Free', and hail from Hurley, Mississippi.

'She was the first to give her life to Christ,' Natalie said, adding that Nicole's faith explained her 'fearlessness' throughout her illness.
