Eleven semi-trucks hauled Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's elaborate custom-built wedding sets cross-country from the West Coast to Madison Square Garden in New York, only for everything to be destroyed at a burn site in Pennsylvania afterwards. Critics have branded the decision a "climate disaster" and slammed the 36-year-old pop star for the environmental cost.

The decor included 35-foot faux greenhouses, towering Colosseum-style walls and a peach-coloured gaming tent, all reportedly incinerated to stop fans stealing and auctioning off souvenirs.

Swift is reportedly withholding wedding photos for fear of looking "out of touch" while ordinary Americans struggle with inflation — the nuptials are estimated to have cost between $30 and $40 million.
