Philip and Kim English died alongside their sons Callum, 12, and Jayden, nine, after an incendiary device set their Birchwood estate home ablaze at 5am on Tuesday. Johnville FC, where Callum played, is permanently retiring his number five jersey. Two other children, aged 14 and six, remain critical in a Dublin hospital. A joint funeral Mass is scheduled for 1pm on Monday at Sacred Heart Church, with burial to follow at Kilbarry Cemetery.

Cian Stacey, 21, and Jessica Dalton, 31, are charged with criminal damage and assault causing serious harm.

Jayden had been recovering from heart surgery in the fortnight before the fire.

Philip's father, Paddy, had to be physically helped up the steps into the church.
