Teenage burglary suspect is found hiding in a Bolton wheelie bin as police tease his 'rubbish' hiding spot

Officers were called at 3.50am on Saturday after a gang targeted a garden shed on Ullswater Drive in Farnworth. A foot chase followed, along with a search of nearby gardens. Bodycam footage shows a torch beam picking out two black shoes protruding from a green wheelie bin lying on its side. The 17-year-old was hauled out by his legs and arrested on suspicion of burglary.

'He is inside. Oi, out you come now,' an officer shouts on the footage.

A 16-year-old girl was also arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.

Both teenagers have been released on bail while officers continue to search for the remaining gang members.
