Terror group's flag flies at Sydney vigil as NYU professor justifies October 7 ON its third anniversary

On the third anniversary of the Hamas massacre, pro-Palestinian demonstrators in Sydney displayed a flag bearing the emblem of the PFLP — a group designated a terrorist organisation by the US, Canada and the EU — alongside a tribute to Hamas architect Yahya Sinwar. Hundreds more protesters took to the streets of New York, with students at NYU and Columbia calling to "keep the intifada alive" even as Israel held solemn memorials across the country.

The Sydney vigil was organised by Jews Against the Occupation '48, with activists also carrying a banner bearing the Hamas codename for the October 7 attack.

At Washington Square Park, NYU professor Andrew Ross claimed the IDF killed its own civilians during the massacre, a claim disputed by Israeli authorities and military analysts.

Israel marked the anniversary with flags at half-staff and gut-wrenching roll calls of the dead, as former PM Naftali Bennett vowed at the Nova festival site: 'We will not forget and we will not forgive.'
