Cctv released Thames Valley Police hunt four males after two girls aged 14 are 'raped and sexually assaulted' in Oxford park

Oxford police investigating the rape and sexual assault of two 14-year-old girls have arrested a 20-year-old Oxford man on suspicion of both offences. He has been bailed until 14 January. Thames Valley Police have also published CCTV footage in an effort to trace a second male believed to hold key information about the attack, which took place in July after the girls were lured into a wooded area by four unknown males.
On 28 July, the four males approached the girls in Florence Park before two of them led the victims to a secluded wooded area in nearby Marsh Park, where the assaults occurred.
Detective Constable Sarah Tibble said police have conducted forensic examinations, ID parades and community outreach but still cannot identify the male shown in the CCTV image.
A boy who had been arrested in connection with the investigation was released without charge once enquiries confirmed he had played no part in the incident.
