A man in his 20s was raped in the early hours of Tuesday morning after being followed into a long alley near Pickford Gardens in Slough. The attacker confronted his victim on Lansdowne Avenue bridge — yelling at him and exposing himself — before carrying out the assault between 1am and 1.30am. Detective Inspector Liam Butler says officers are conducting door-to-door enquiries and CCTV checks, with an increased police presence in the area over coming days.

The suspect is white, in his early 20s, of skinny build, with short brown hair, standing 5ft 8in to 5ft 9in tall, and speaks with a local English accent.

Police are particularly urging motorists who drove through the area to check dash-cam footage from around the time of the attack.
