Thames Valley Police release CCTV image after two girls aged 14 were raped and sexually assaulted in Oxford parks

Two 14-year-old girls were raped and sexually assaulted by men they had recently met in Florence Park, Oxford, on 28 July, the attacks occurring in a nearby wooded area between 5:15pm and 6pm. Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of an unidentified man after months of forensic work, witness appeals and ID parades failed to establish his identity. A 20-year-old Oxford man arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault has been bailed until January.
Investigating officer Det Con Sarah Tibble said the unidentified male 'may have vital information' that could progress the investigation.
Both girls left the parks and contacted police immediately after the attacks on 28 July.
A previously arrested boy has been eliminated from the inquiry and freed without charge.
