Thames Valley Police release CCTV image of cyclist after two girls, 14, were 'raped and sexually assaulted' in Oxford park

Two 14-year-old girls were attacked — raped and sexually assaulted — by males they had just met in Florence Park, Oxford, on 28 July. The offenders drew them to a secluded wooded area of nearby Marsh Park, where the assaults took place between 5.15pm and 6pm. Thames Valley Police have released CCTV footage of a cyclist whom detectives believe has vital information, and a 20-year-old Oxford man arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault has been bailed until 14 January.
The victims struck up a conversation with four unknown males in Florence Park, after which two of those men led them into the woods.
Detective Constable Sarah Tibble said investigators had carried out forensic searches, ID parades and community appeals but cannot identify the man in the image.
A previously arrested boy was released without charge after inquiries established he had no involvement in the attacks.
