Bobb'e J. Thompson, 30, who played Stanley in 'That's So Raven', was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession of a stolen firearm as a felon. US District Court Judge Leonard T. Strand handed down the sentence, followed by a three-year supervised release term, with no possibility of parole in the federal system. Thompson was pulled over in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, in September 2025 while driving 104mph in a 70mph zone. Officers found a loaded, stolen .40-caliber handgun and marijuana in his backpack.

Officers saw Thompson switch seats with his passenger as they approached the car, which smelled of marijuana.

The stolen .40-caliber handgun — reported taken from a vehicle in Kansas City — was loaded with a 15-round magazine and a round in the chamber.

Thompson's criminal history includes two 2020 convictions for battery and assault, and a 2022 conviction for prohibited firearm possession.
