The U.S. Called It Putin’s ‘Slush Fund.’ Now Trump May Drop Sanctions on It.

Zelensky said from his fortified Kyiv headquarters that the Abu Dhabi summit — originally scheduled for late November — was brought forward and could now happen within days of Tuesday's vote. The talks would be the first face-to-face negotiations since Trump lifted sanctions on Moscow, and would initially take place at "technical level," with hopes of paving the way for a three-way Trump-Zelensky-Putin summit.

Kyiv had proposed holding talks this coming Sunday but agreed to wait until Americans have voted.

Zelensky warned Trump directly: 'If the United States understands Putin's goal is to destroy us, they can't be on Putin's side.'

A Silver Bulletin poll gives Democrats over a 90% chance of flipping the House, potentially reshaping Washington's Ukraine policy for Trump's remaining two years.
