Elizabeth Holmes, convicted of wire fraud after defrauding investors of more than $450 million through her blood-testing startup Theranos, has been approved for transfer to the Austin Transitional Center in Del Valle, Texas, on August 23, 2027 — more than two years before her scheduled release date of February 2030. Holmes, 42, is currently serving her 11-year sentence at the minimum-security Federal Prison Camp Bryan near Houston, where photos reportedly show her reuniting with her two young children during weekend visits. The halfway-house transfer comes weeks before the release of documentary 'You Can See Everything', which covers her final days before she reported to prison in May 2023.
Holmes reportedly pleaded with President Trump to commute her sentence before the halfway-house transfer was approved.
Her fiancé Billy Evans, 33, has reportedly raised $18 million for a new blood-testing startup, while Holmes says she still believes in her original healthcare vision.
In the upcoming documentary, Evans admits he once wondered whether Holmes might be 'scamming' him.
