Park Road in Chandler's Ford, where cordons also extended to Valley Road on Sunday afternoon as Hampshire Police appealed on reference number 44260534624 for party guests who had not yet spoken to officers. The party's address was shared on Snapchat, drawing around 70 uninvited guests to a supervised birthday celebration at an £800,000 property, with a group of males climbing the garden fence before stabbing five sixth-form boys in an attack witnesses described as sudden and unprovoked.
A boy from Bristol, 16, was arrested overnight on suspicion of attempted murder, bringing the total in custody to three: he joins a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old — both from Southampton — who have been held since Monday. Around 70 uninvited teenagers descended on the party at Park Road, Chandler's Ford, after details circulated on Snapchat, with a group climbing over a wooden fence before knifing five victims.
One 17-year-old victim is still in hospital with life-threatening injuries; the other four, aged 16 and 17, have been discharged.
The supervised event was hosted by a 17-year-old girl at her family's £800,000 home — her parents were on the premises but unable to hold back the flood of arrivals.
Officers are going into local schools and colleges this week, and DCI Elizabeth Pirie has appealed for anyone with footage — including doorbell camera recordings — to come forward.
