A 16-year-old boy from Bristol was arrested overnight on suspicion of attempted murder, bringing the total in custody to three after uninvited males climbed over a garden fence to gatecrash a supervised party on Park Road, Chandler's Ford, on Halloween night. A 17-year-old victim remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital, while four others aged 16 or 17 have been discharged.
The intruders scaled a fence into the £800,000 four-bedroom property before attacking five guests with a knife, both inside the garden and on the roads nearby.
Two earlier arrests — a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Southampton — were made on Monday; all three suspects remain in custody.
DCI Elizabeth Pirie urged anyone with footage or information to come forward, saying even seemingly small details 'may be key to our enquiries.'
