Two of the English children, aged six and 14, are still critically ill in hospital after the arson attack on the family home in Waterford's Birchwood Estate. Their brothers Callum, 12, and Jayden, nine, died with their parents. Gardaí believe the attack is linked to drug debt intimidation. A man and a woman have appeared at Clonmel District Court charged in connection with it.

Paddy English, the children's grandfather, looked close to collapse at Sacred Heart Church.

Fr Gerry Chestnutt called them 'a beautiful family who did no wrong to anybody'.

'You'll Never Walk Alone' played as the four coffins left for Kilbarry Cemetery.
