Thousands of Orangemen march through Portadown in Northern Ireland ahead of a High Court ruling on the Garvaghy Road ban
DUP MP Carla Lockhart, who led the parade alongside loyalist activist Jamie Bryson, told the crowd: 'Michelle O'Neill must go.' More than two dozen bands marched through Storm Boelo, and the turnout surprised even organisers. The Orangemen are challenging Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant's ban, which he imposed on police advice. Speakers at the rally openly criticised PSNI Chief Constable Jon Boutcher.
The Parades Commission had approved the route for the first time in 28 years.
Up to 1,000 people blocked the road on 27 September, sparking a two-week stand-off.
DUP MP Sammy Wilson called Lockhart's quitting as party officer a 'token gesture'.
