Thousands rally in Portadown for Drumcree Orangemen as DUP MP Carla Lockhart tells the crowd Michelle O'Neill 'must go'

Hundreds of Orangemen and more than 25 bands marched through Portadown as Storm Boelo swept in, and the crowd seemed to surprise even the organisers. They kept away from the mainly nationalist Garvaghy Road, where Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant banned their parade on security advice. Lockhart declared: 'This lady is not for turning.' A High Court ruling on the ban is expected next week.

Speakers attacked PSNI Chief Constable Jon Boutcher and Bryant from the platform.

Lockhart quit as DUP party officer after leader Gavin Robinson refused to pull Emma Little-Pengelly.

Sammy Wilson called her move a 'token gesture'. She says it is 'about principle'.
