Thousands rally in Portadown in support of Orange Order's campaign to complete Drumcree march amid ongoing court battle

Orangemen remain banned from walking the mainly nationalist Garvaghy Road, while Michelle O'Neill joined the protests that blocked their parade. This week the Sinn Féin first minister attended police interviews over her role. Carla Lockhart quit as a DUP party officer on Thursday, saying the party could remove O'Neill. She told the crowd: 'This lady is not for turning.'

Portadown district master Nigel Dawson warned: 'We put them into office and we can take them out.'

Hundreds of Orangemen and more than 25 bands marched from Watson Street on Saturday evening.

TUV leader Jim Allister and Orange Order legal adviser Jamie Bryson joined the crowd.
