Hazmat-suited figures move through an indoor corridor as Kenya confirms a second Ebola case — a close relative of the first victim, already in quarantine when symptoms appeared.

Three of the new cases are health workers who treated Kenya's first Ebola patient — a 29-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and a 32-year-old woman — all held in quarantine from October 9. The fourth is a male close relative of the index case, a 40-year-old businessman who entered Kenya from Congo through Kampala. All Kenyan cases involve the Bundibugyo strain, for which no approved vaccine exists. Kenya's Health Ministry maintains that transmission has not spread into the wider community.

October 6 marked Kenya's first-ever recorded Ebola case.

Congo's outbreak, which ranks as the second largest in history, has claimed more than 4,400 lives there.

MSF's Trish Newport warns 'people are moving around without knowing they might have Ebola'.
