Three in five Jewish pupils have faced antisemitism at school, review finds, and teachers face a ban on Palestine badges
A Government-commissioned review of antisemitism in English schools is set to recommend sweeping reforms to better safeguard Jewish pupils. Ministers are expected to accept all 27 of its recommendations. The review is expected to urge schools to recognise antisemitism as a distinct form of harm. The findings have left parents and critics asking whether classrooms are now unsafe for Jewish children.
The review was led by former Ofsted chief Sir David Bell.
Ministers are poised to back every one of Bell's 27 recommendations.
Teachers' Palestine badges are set to be barred from English classrooms.
