Three men are arrested after a pedestrian, 18, is killed by a BMW in Leeds city centre

A second car, a Toyota Yaris T-Sport, was identified in the area at the time of the crash, and both vehicles have been recovered. The teenager was hit on Park Lane near the A58 entry slip road at 9.12pm on Friday and died in hospital. Two men aged 22 and one aged 24 are held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. All three remain in custody.

The BMW was travelling away from the city centre and stopped near the scene.

West Yorkshire Police urge anyone who saw the cars being driven beforehand to come forward.
