Thune insists Republicans will keep their US Senate majority even as GOP groups pull millions from struggling races

Senate Majority Leader John Thune claims the polls 'under-reflect the Republican vote' and predicts his party will hold its slim 53-47 grip. Races in North Carolina and Georgia may be slipping away from the GOP. Kansas has tightened into a dead heat. Thune says he is not cutting bait on any contest before the November 3 vote.

Republicans have $208 million in Senate ads booked, against $147 million for Democrats.

Kansas, which last elected a Democratic senator in 1932, is neck and neck.

Republicans are betting Elon Musk's millions can rescue Ken Paxton in Texas.
