Todd Blanche denies the Alaska lawsuit aims to stop certification as Republican Murkowski says the DOJ 'should never have filed' it

Blanche insists the suit only seeks to preserve ballots so Alaska officials can judge whether voters were 'confused or mislead'. Senator Lisa Murkowski says the state already distinguished the candidates clearly on the ballot. President Donald Trump said on Friday: 'I'm the one that said do it.' Common Cause and the ACLU have now moved to intervene in the case.

Retired teacher Daniel J. Sullivan Jr, 69, shares the ballot with Senator Dan S. Sullivan.

Democrat Mary Peltola branded the lawsuit 'a very desperate attempt to cling to power'.

Stephen Miller called the second Sullivan 'one of the most egregious attacks' on election integrity.
