Toledo residents in Ohio are ordered to evacuate as an unidentified toxic chemical leaks from an industrial site

A plume of unknown chemicals erupted from the MC Tank terminal at 1050 Progress Avenue in northern Toledo late on Tuesday. Toledo Fire and Rescue ordered everyone within a one-mile radius to leave. No injuries have been reported, but crews say the release is still ongoing.

Toledo Fire and Rescue warned: 'You can't tell fog from the release by looking.'

Residents reported a strong plastic-like smell across the city of roughly 265,000.
